Ive just bought some of those MEPPS spinner's 7 ' Im off tomorrow so hopefully will land a couple the reason i like the mepps 7 spinners (apart from the reason it catches me big pike most of the time) is beause there is great weight in them and you can reel them in dead slow also you can feel the rod tip vibrating when reeling in and i recon that vibration is coming off the spinner to attract the pike. thats my 2 cents niall_b73

  14. so we headed off this morning about eight oclock. the first warren we came to had about 12 holes so we netted them up had a smoke and then put the ferret in. he was in for about five minutes and then appeared out of the other hole, this went on for a while but no rabbits so we moved on to another warren. on the second there was 10 holes so again we netted the holes off waited a while and then put the ferret in. not long after we had a bolter from an unnetted hole, covered it and waited. then five minutes later we had out first ever rabbit in the net. he was a small one but a rabbit a

  21. i to am like you, pretty new to the ferreting scene. i have only been out the once, last sunday and thankfully all went well. but with regards to the ferret finder, i would say a big yes. if you think anything of your workers you would think heavily about investing in one. well that is my 2 cents anyway. good luck with the ferreting niall_b73
