I seen quite alot of these cysts this year, their rampant why do u think this is the case?. One suggestion i have is, might tie in with the weather and hunger.

not true some dogs who are careful grazers and actually chew the grass can digest it and the same goes for veg if its blitzed up or grated then it will get digested Some dogs why not all? Wolves had no blitzers in the wild, but yeah cooking and blitzing is the nearest to the real veg in the unwashed honey comb of tripe, still not sure of blitzed raw thou.. because all dogs are different some chew it proper and some wolf it down and as for not being sure about raw, anybody with any sense knows that vegatables lose some nutrient value when cooked Of course cooked veg loses nutrient,a

Spot on commanche, dogs do require partly digested veg matter found in the belly of a herbivore thats why dogs eat grass and vomit it up, cant digest it.

ANYONE FEED LURCHERS RAW EGGS?

Never cook my meat boss, but found a cooked egg is much easier for the dog to digest.. -
that bar ur on about is it the carbon rod thats broke if so take it out and file both sides gently so they fit back together perfectly then a tad of super glue should work fine then Yeah its the carbon rod alright, put some foil between the break and taped but readings still wrong so sent it in for repair. Wondering if the extreme cold can make them briittle and therefor easily break?
-
Had exactely the same problem, opened up the locater and believe it or not theres a little bar in side and it was broke in half, how it happened without every thing else breaking before it ill never know.

She is wormed and housed in a wooden box with straw. The only thing i can imagine is, she did work in some harsh conditions.Just have to see how she goes on the two meals...

Yeah dont make a fuss of him, dont look at him speak to him, or show him the lead just open the door and walk out and let him follow u. Hope things work out for ya.

Hi lads just wondering have any of u had the same promblem, i usually only feed my terrier once a day but for the first time she on two meals a day . I know she is getting a lot of work lately but i can only put it down to the prolonged cold spell thats making her lose all this weight, have added some more fat to har diet, any comments?.

It could be as the season goes on the rabbit has grown to maturity and is physically stronger than earlier in the season, therefore needs more persuading to shift..

How many more times does poor old David Attenbourgh have to make it plain to you? Mustelids rely on a killing bite to the back of neck...................how the f*ck are they supposed to do that if the only target they have is a rabbits arse in a stop-end? Paitience, my weee man...

That just about sums it up phill, it works best on this ground. If i hunted large deep warrens of course i wouldn use large bucks that would be madness, nets would be the practical thing to use. But u got the drift why a large heavy buck is preferred, one dig only.
-
hiya, ferreting is pracised here for generations like this, so its not knew. But as been stated it not profitable setting nets on small burrows with so much thorn just for 1 or 2 rabbits so its makes sense to use a hard buck for one dig only, u cant be breaking into hedges after several digs to a jill being dragged this way [bANNED TEXT] in and out in minutes. But yes the one and only down fall is some farmers might not be happy with all the digs but i make sure they are well back filled.
-
My ferreting terrier had two hard days hunting in the last 10 days and has gone lame Im told she has frost, burn never encountered it before im applying vaseline at the mo and she seems to have improved. So is this the best treatment or anyone know a better medication
-
Seen a rabbit chased into a hedge and hopped off a rock, knocked himself out got a stich laughing. But no never seen back netted like that. Hey shore not have double vision ha ha, only messing mate weird things happen
-
Thats got to be answered max, or anyone else out there why would u want to wait around for so long when a couple, or let it be ten minute dig can have u on your way? Well put brimmer let the debate begin.
-
That sums it up Tyla horses for courses. I know my land in side out as i said small burrows one or two usally at home, not worth netting up with all the thorn and bramble so its practical to have a hard buck and one dig only and if he does bolt my crafy terrier will sweep or the lucher. So it works best on this land.
-
Do ya find the bucks better for bolting?
-
Feed mine raw and Gain record breaker. If its nuts [bANNED TEXT] after a high protein non wheat kibble find all my dogs firmer with maize instead of wheat added.
