BSA Ultra Single Shot .22 Blueprinted by John Bowkett
fenris replied to fenris's topic in Gun's and Rifle's
sold a few weeks ago, thanks for asking all! only an R-10 .177 remaining to go! -
Hi All, My Mrs (and me tagging along, inevitably!) would love to see ferrets being worked, so if you are local to us, and work ferrets, and don't mind a nosy parker along for a few hours, can you let me know? She'd appreciate being able to see it, as it's not something you get to see or hear about very often, but it's a fascinating part of land management. And for god's sake, count your ferrets before we leave! We already have chickens and Dogs, ferrets would make a complete food chain! She's only allowed ferrets if she brings home rabbits with them for dinner!

Selling my Beech stocked BSA Ultra Single Shot in .22 calibre, recently serviced and blueprinted (taken apart and rebuilt to zero tolerances) by the man who designed the gun for BSA, John Bowkett. Running at low 11's ft. lbs with JSB exact 5.52's, this has been done to keep the rifle legal and NON-FAC! with higher weight pellets such as Bisley Magnums. In good condition, sale is for rifle only, fitted with QD swivels, and action. Barrel is threaded for 1/2 inch UNF silencer, I'd recommend the HW silencer, I have one available if you would like to buy it at the same time. Gives

Not Co2 mate, Pump or diving bottle are the options. Diving bottle is very useful as it's 100% dry air and so less chance of rusty internals over the years. That said, a pump is ok too, and the advantage of the ultra cylinder is that's it's so small that pumping it up isn't too hard! The hills pump is good and second hand they're about -90. A 3 litre diving bottle kit can be had with a 5 year test for about the £130-140 mark, and as it's a small reservoir in the gun, will do a lot of fills on an ultra. Make sure you try one first, as they're not to everyones taste, but if you like th
