    She's only young yet, time will tell.... Her coat is work, gets knotted up and when it rains holds the wet. Looks good though! She's a fast and nimble runner, when it all clicks as she matures I'm sure she will be very capable. As for pace, she's got one speed, flat out, not really got gears like my other bigger mut. She is very quick on the turn though and she's definitely fast enough for the job.... Size wise she's 18/19" tts. ?

    Does anyone know why some dogs come out brindle in a litter and some are a solid colour? Mine was out of a litter of solid sand and brindle colours, I have seen similar colours in a litter and then just one white dog! Has anyone seen any unexpected coats in a litter over the years? Some great looking dogs out there! ?

    Was this the bitch you had from John in Neath? I had one out of the same litter as you years ago. She was a brilliant lurcher, how did yours turn out? ?

    I think theres about 1/4 in mine and you can tell because of her temperament. She has got a good guarding instinct about her. Just coming out of her shell, really just a pup still at about 18 months old. I think she will make a sound hound, just alot slower than my old lurcher bitch who was switched on from 7 months old! ?

    Top one is my bitch out of these 2, sandy dog is the sire and brindle bitch was the dam. The sire has shepherd in the breeding, not sure what though, Belgian or dutch? My bitch is coming on nicely, she's still only young, no rush, let her find out in her own time.... ?

    Nice looking dogs the wheaten terriers but I have never seen one in the flesh, unfortunately. I saw a clip on youtube a while back with them on during the 1920's (ish, I think)! They certainly have a characterful reputation by all accounts from what I've read, hopefully see some one day.... Have you got any more info on what they are like, do they think they are the boss (of everything)? ?

    Food for thought.... The other thing I like to do is onion rings at the same time as the chips because I find it flavours the oil nicely. Chips are the best!

    Where do you get beef dripping from, I have had chips fryed in it from a chippy, they were good to be fair! ?
