  2. She has got Greyhound, Deerhound, Whippet, Saluki, Collie and Beddy in her. She will be about 23 1/2 - 24 inch to the shoulder. JPT
  3. I have got a pup coming upto 6 months now and she wont do any sort of work untill next season. When she is about 14 months she will have a little go but nothing serious untill the season after. She needs time to be a puppy and for her body to develope fully. If you want to f**k a dog up start them young but if you want a good 7 or 8 seasons out of them then wait! Thats what I have been told by many men who have been running dogs for more than twenty years. Who do you trust, the one who has been there and done that or the one who says it wont do any harm, just a quick slip here and there? The c
  4. I really like the bitch pup on the right you have. Have you anymore pictures of your dogs? Would you say they are as quick as a full ped whippet? They look just that bit stronger than a ped whippet which I like. I am sure they would show well in the ring 2. JPT
  5. Never had one and never will. I don't like collie greyhounds all that much. I am not saying they are anything I just don't like them. Having said that my lurcher has collie greyhound in her amongst alot of other things. They are ment to be half decent dogs aren't they? JPT

  10. I went out lamping on friday night and saw a few fox. I was wondering how often I should squeek my thingybob to get them to come in? They stop and look when a give it a toot but they dont come close enough for me to shoot them. I am getting into a position with my back against the hedges and squeeking. Also should I use my lamp at certain times for example I have a scan to see whats about and then turn off the light. I then squeek a couple of times give it a min and shine again. Are there any videos or books on the techniques? Any advice would be helpful, cheers JPT
  11. Do you get a better long dog if you use a whippet at stud or greyhound? JPT

Thanks for the feedback lads. I will sort it out! JPT
  16. I have got just the one ferret and I feed her on lambs liver from tesco or sometimes the kidneys they do. Is this ok? I have put rabbit and phesant in for her but she doesnt touch it. If I give her small birds or mice she does eat them. Is it because I am putting to much in for her and she is saving it because there is loads? Any advice would be great, cheers. JPT
  17. I agree with you Strong Stuff. It is bad business to ignore even the smallest of complaints as it is your reputation that is at stake. We all know that if you are selling products to people who require certain standards then you must meet their requirements. If you do not then neither you nor your product will last very long on the market or out in the field. As a custermer I have the power, especially with the use of the internet, to inform and express my opinion which is one of confusion if I am to be truly honest. I can not understand why such a well respected company would act in such
  18. i phoned them back strong stuff but they said they could not exchange it or refund it because it was a made to measure collar. i have just put it in the cupboard and forgotten about it because it gets me pissed off when i look at it! i was shocked to be honest when i got it because the rest of there stuff looks good but what i was sold is shit!
  19. i bought a collar from bell man and flint and was not that impressed with it to be honest. the collar in the top of the pics is one i got made by francis kelly and the second is bell man and flint. the stiching is not in the same class in my opinion. dont know what the couples are like but they look well made when i have seen them at the shows. i must of just had bad luck! JPT
  20. have you seen any frank? i was thinking about breeding the next time i want a pup but i would also need a greyhound. anyway i think they would make a sound lurcher because my irish terrier has got loads of stamina and he has one hell of a fire burning in his belly! you would get the coat aswell and like you say for the bigger stuff they would excell i'm sure. JPT
  21. i hav got one mate and he is a smart dog. he is 20 at the shoulders and a solid build all round. you could not get one to go to ground though because they are to big. he is a bit of twat with other terriers though. my mate has got a beddy and they fight everytime and its him who starts it. top dogs like but not really working dogs if you know what i mean. mine has had rabbit and one rat but thats it upto now. JPT
