Been Derbyshire today in works van , theres plenty of fields ,woods n countryside ,seen a few hares sat in fields ,does anyone on here work there dogs round there n whats it like ?

HI ALL ,MY ELDEST SON WHOS 14 AS GOT HIMSELF A SULUKI COLLIE GREYHOUND PUP ,THE DOG IS 7MONTHS OLD ,I TAKE HIM OUT WITH ME WORKING DOGS , HES A BIT DISHEARTENED WITH THE DOG COZ HE SAID IT NOT SHOWIN MUCH INTEREST ,I TOLD HIM TO DO A FEW THINGS TO TRY N BRING THE DOG ON ,BUT IVE ALSO TOLD HIM ITS A YOUNG DOG AND TO GIVE IT TIME ,DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS TO HELP BRING THE PUP ON ,OR WILL IT JUST COME OUT NATURALLY IN THE DOG ?

people always state 10 months or whatever but it depends on the dog, mine wasn't ready for anything until she was about 13/14 months! sounds like he's in danger of rushing it and f'ckin up the dog to me.
