my sons first ever lurcher is now one. should he have the coat cut for the summer as it is quite long and a bit knotty.The dog is a beddie x whippet.

Have one seven months old, same as you retrieving is ok recall is good, will start him very soon. Great dog am looking forward to working him.

Got a 4 month old bed/whippet and have been advised to have his dew claws removed. This is the first dog I've had so was wondering do I really have to remove them and if so should I do it sooner rather than later. Any advice is appreciated.

Hello I'm new to this site and new to working dogs. My 12 year old has an interest in fishing and has now taken a interest in hunting. I bought him a bedlington whippet cross which he has trained to receive,sit,stay etc. and I was wondering how old he should be before he can start on rabbits. Local boys have given us loads of different ages. Cheers Chris
