I have an Ultra and an AirArms S400, both are single shot I don't find the Ultra any more awkward to load than the airarms , its horses for courses and the ease of cocking/decocking the MMC makes the Ultra a superb "walking around" rifle, the main difference would be shot count, however I have had my Ultra regulated, and get + full power shots, with less pumping as its a smaller tube the reason I have both is one is for HFT and the other for hunting (ultra .22) it is hard to fault either in my opinion.
