Animal cruelty is animal cruelty, bunny huggers or not.

its supermarkets and consumers who force these things upon us, the need for a 47p pint rather than 57p. Its money orientated, animal welfare is an important issue for the majority of the british public until it starts costing money then it goes out the window.

look in the back of carp-talk or similar mag usually set ups for sale. Plonk yourself with someone who knows what hes doing at an easy venue, keep your gob shut, look and learn. In about 10 years time you'll learn that alot of trollop talked in carp magazines is exactly that and that nothing compares to time on the bank, watching and thinking.

I'm only 25 so got the brunt of all paperwork no practical work in school. I was lucky however that i always had an interest in all things interesting and tinkered with motorbikes and cars from a young age. Landed up getting an apprenticeship in a powerstation where i worked with some of the best engineers i had ever met or am ever likely to meet. Old school fitters who knew the job, how to get it done and most importantly how you learn to look after your colleagues as a sixth sense. This has all but disappeared in modern paperwork run engineering where if you stuck to the paperwork you would -
Ive got a HOWA 1500 with laminate thumbhole and varmint barrel and love it although it is damn heavy. I looked at some fully synth howas when i bought mine and must say they did look nice utility rifles. I only bought mine because it was a good deal, in the abscence of the one i bought then i would have bought one of the synthetic howas without a shadow of a doubt. never shot the synthetic one but my howa groups brilliantly even with factory 100 grainers

Another nail in the coffin mate. From the moment you wake up to the moment you go to sleep you are told what to do. Don't drink, don't smoke, don't drive fast, don't drive uneconomical cars, don't feed your kids this, don't say that. Whats the point in being a western 'civilised' culture when theres no freedom. You'd be better off taking your chances in the wilderness or a warzone.

I am prepared to pay a yearly amount for ground rent and/or handover some carcases? I Just don't like this pay your money, walk round, maybe shoot one then its thanks very much bugger off oh and by the way its £x amount for you take some venison home. I recently got into stalking and went out a few times with an experienced guy on some ground that i had permission on. I then went on my own a few times and accounted for a couple of roe does and a fallow pricket. I do enjoy stalking but do not wish to go out and kill loads of deer. Is there anybody in the kent area that would be interested in me helping them out with a cull or me getting a couple of stalks in return for doing some work/ fetching carrying whatever really. All i'm after is a bit of ground that i can stalk on everynow and then as my permission got wrecked by a stupid muppet taki

always change as a pair mate, most places sell them in pairs anyhow

if its 2.8 diesel and not full of rust they are top little jeeps and will pull mountains over

It wont be from another type of vehicle, it will be a reconditioned landrover gearbox, you then send him your old one once you've changed it, he then reconditions your old one and flogs it on to the next bloke with a broken landrover. He was worth his weight in gold when i had trouble, even told me what the diff ratios were and sent me a few tools that i needed to do the job.

Trouble is they'll end up in hot water while the thieving scum walk scott free.
-
Fill the container up with gas next time, soon as the hot knife goes through you'll know someones tried it again as you'll be sweeping them up into little piles.

It's not in ireland mate but i had a gearbox for a ford ranger from a bloke at Abbey Transmissions in Essex, he was very reasonable and will do discount if you send him the old unit after you've changed it. He does all sorts of vehicles from nissan micra's to rigid axle HGV gearboxes, diffs, transfer boxes and rebuild your own kits. Give him a ring 01992 893833, website says UK delivery. All the best, Luke.

Whats the point in this post then?

Rangers will be the same off road as any other 4x4 pickup on the market today. Hilux is top dog but i dont like the shape, nissans blow up, mitsubishis have to be serviced every 300 yards, which only really leaves the ranger or the isuzu, i chose the ranger because i had 180, 000 trouble free miles with the old one and this one is shaping up to be even better. Also, services are 12500 miles apart not 7000 and i would change all oils every 20000 anyway.

A good motor factors will either know the size or may sell you a little selection of different sizes. Then you can pick which one that fits. Like an 'o'ring kit i carry a selection of copper washers and dowty seals in my work van. You should only pay pennies for a washer. The bonus of buying a selection is that youve always got them in the garage then.

Anybody? I would also be very interested in just being involved in a decent shoot even if there were no syndicate places available. I've got fac for .22 rim and .243 so am keen to help out with all aspects of vermin control. Cheers, Luke.

must be synicism as i'm only 25 and totally agree.

Hi all, I'm looking for a diy syndicate or such like to join in the south east area. My shoot that ive been involved in for the past two years has just been taken over by a right tosser so i'm looking for a new one. A long shot i know but worth a punt. I'm 25, enthusiastic with quad and pick up and have been shooting since i could walk. Regards.
