  6. 3.0 VERY BAD NEWS support that view- the 3.0ltr is a dog of an engine. there are companies doing 2.8ltr engine replacements cos the truck is not a bad vehicle apart from the engine I have a 3.1- its very basic- but tows big stuff like a dream.
  7. x5 is pants off road, you would be better off buying a 5 series estate than an X5, they are footballers cars- flashy, the merc has terrible reliability issues. If it was my money I would buy a Land Cruiser
  8. not get much help for this but thanks for reply's nice 1, cheers mate!.........been wanting 1 for a few months now, but dont wana jump in and buy any old one that comes my way any advise on what to look out for? (bad faults n stuff?) N/A manual would be best IMHO- the turbo is quick- but you do not need the extra cost of fuel, insurance. Not heard any horror stories on them- but everything can break

The brindle was rescued so we know very little about his back ground but I think he is a whippetxgreyhound (???? experts opinions graefully received) the others mother was 3/4 bedlington 1/4 whippet and his sire was 3/4 whippet and 1/4 Bedlington. We have alot of fun together- they are great companions

  17. unless you have loads of cash I would steer clear of range rovers or discos- yes some folks will say " oh but mine is fine" but when i used to do a bit of work for a 4x4 dealer they would not give their own warranty for them- they had been burnt many many times with horrendous claims for them.Instead they purchased a seperate warranty insurance policy for them, but for everything else they did their own warranty- i think that says alot. But saying that they had a lot of time for defenders- especially the tdi versions- they felt there was to many gremlins on the td5 and its electronics. do
