the only trouble I have had with mine was the push button gear selector- its a common fault that the sensor goes , and then it will not go into gear or come out, had it repaired last year and its been fine- but its put me off and I would prefer an old fashioned gear changing method!!

Hi duckwing, agree with you about the feather, its something that I have a side line on trying to resolve.I was hoping to share a photo one of these birds, but I cannot seem to on this post so many have to do another one. I do not get your comment about asian like thighs? I can only think you mean that they are muscular? Regards CS

Hi Tayto- there are two groups of chickens- soft feather like rhode island reds and sussex and hard feather like old english game and asil.They have very little fluff and the feathers themselves are very dry and hard. In the hard feather you get some that are harder in feather than others, these are generally Asian game like young Tuzo me lad keeps-some of them are extremely hard feather and its almost impossible to keep them in good feather- and due to the lack of fluff they show bare red skin on some parts of the body like the breast and wing butts- some weirdos like me and Tuzo love them-ot
