  2. I had a great day lads.... Thanks a mil for the warm reception.. I was well impressed with all the dogs and they were huge to me as i only had a rabbiting bitch with me to give her a look. Thanks for not laughing too much when ye saw her :D Ye are all gentlemen too for breaking me in easy and taking my digging virginity A great day and a great bunch of lads.... That dinner when we got back just might have saved my life cheers
  3. Only saw your reply now lad... You sure do.... Pitty that Scent got a dud lol :) Thats going to come back and bite me in the ass.. i know it is... Didnt make it out for the long ear that day.... but have had a couple of double figure nights since.... Lets just hope that he is as game on the red lads

  6. thanks mate.... mine was the same and just came came right last night... its a joy to see the pups running atb
  7. let him take his time mate..... I couldn't believe what i was seeing last night he was like a different dog something just clicked and he thought right.. there mine tonight....on two of them that he got .. i couldnt see him .. he hit the ditch so hard that he was fully inside it lol.... i almost checked to see if he was a dog that just joined in :)
  8. I had the pup (13 months old). out a few times lately. Leaving him find his feet and work at his own pace.. We have been rewarded with a few bunnies and a couple of nights ago i decided to bring my bithc along to try start the road back to fitness after a recent litter of pups. I noticed a difference in the pups attitude with a bit of computation along.. So to get to the point.. I went to an old stomping ground tonight that has not seen the light of my lamp in about 18 years.. i had both dogs walking by my side and let both run on each bunny we came across. The first and second falling
  9. Im sorry for your loss mate... Lump in my throat thinking about it... Thankfully I have not lost one like this yet but did have one chase a rabbit across a field .. under a gate and got hit by a car... Its my biggest fear while out ... Chin up ATB
