    from what i have seen plumbers seem to do the job ok they also seem to work well as a pack not too much scrapping etc,but to be honest i think that most strains of terrier will rat. our pack consists of beddy x whip,2 lakelands,1 border,cocker x lakeland,3 whippets and my little lurcher beddy whip x collie grey....my kennels are nearly full,only joking lol...the cocker x lakie and the lurch are mine what are the lakelands like? I am just reading "tales of a rat hunting mam" by plummer. And he say's that lakelands are very hard but not as smart, have you found this? But I do like the

    befor last season i done a lot of road work with the dogs and walking up the mountain letting them work the cover and bush them selfs stupid always plenty about for them to work, also walked them for f*****g miles looking for new earths, got them fit as f**k, you see a big difference in a fit happy dog than in one thats just left in the kennals all day.
