Im soon going to purchase a theoben rapid s type and need some advice on what would be best cal for sub 12ftlbs i have a .22 hw77k but have been getting told to get 177 for more range any advice anyone oh ye its for hunting rabbits and pigeons

im new to the site and was wondering if any one knows a good hunting spot for rabbits and pigeons in the north west of engand its for air rifle hunting and hawking with me harris, any suggestions much appreciated thanks
