    A lot would depend on were your walking or if your running her loose with other dogs. I put my dog in the car at that age and had her along the riverbank away from people and other dogs.somewhere she couldn't take off and do her own thing.my pup is just 5 months old and is walked from the house, but still not miles and miles.I get her among sheep,ponies, cattle etc

    Sales gimmick? Sally Hancock told me the straight bearded collie crosses are bolder and not as robotic.wouldn't think the small fraction would make any difference to the cross?

    Could see a first cross been handy but many are just bred down grews,mine were skinny whippet sized and truthfully not big enough for what I needed.
