That's exactly what happened to the dog smashed into the thick after rabbit to close to the road but tha road is busy so he got hit I was lucky a few year back with the whippet at the same area so I tend to keep clear now cos if the whippet gets anywhere near he would do the same thing again he has a strange memory seems to remember the ones he missed at certain spots forever so I have to be careful with him or he will bolt to the area where he missed them and nothing will deter him ( the Cnut)

Thanks krawnden his mother is border/ Lakeland x whippet put to my whippet they have prey drive to spare will go through owt to much really at times his brother was killed last week chasing rabbit onto road the man who owned him was gutted as he was coming on great.

i have a 3/4 bred whippet borderlakeland he is quick enough for any rabbit just doesnt like dogs while on the lead but hes got that from his father the whippet.

Hi mate I have a black cocker trained to the gun but I just use him for bushing now for the runners he will mark very well and will go through any cover without hesitation. Forgot to say in the north east

I totally agree with you, they have totally spoiled the working dog shows originally made for working men and their dogs out of season,, FFS buy a show pony and gan to fkn show pony shows.

+1 on them wellies mine has lasted 3 year need new ones now though my fault for not fastening zip most of the time and the rubber inside zip has come away ,soles are fine still not like them muck boots , six month if you're lucky and the are deadly in the mud

I thought I would have a look at a couple of local fields. last night now the quickest way and best to leave motor is through the park, there is no lights on in the park so best way to go, when I parked up and got into the park all I could see was about a dozen lights on obviously head torches the way they were moving ( like being back down the pit lol except pit men didn't shine their lights in each other's eyes) so I went another way out of the way of them but as I got over the top of the hill there was another for about a hundred yards away coming towards me so as I got closer I shouted to

The same happened to my son in Durham a few years ago didn't even know what it was that him but he ended up with fractured skull,fractured eye socket,shattered cheekbone and fractured jaw all this happened 7 weeks before his wedding the surgeon did wonders with it though and wasn't to bad for the photos police messed about with cctv footage so didn't find who did it at the time but he was found and took care of a few weeks later, so hope your eye ok mate and time will come for that fkn prick I hope.

Try Gary Bailey mate if you can catch him, he is always at Pelaw dog track on a Sunday I used him and he found what Robert Meek didn't I rate him a lot and he will see lurchers.

his coat is very strong his brother which my daughter owns is abit more shaggy but softer than his the other two which are local are smooth but thicker than whippets.
