  1. lads i havent heard anything of them over here unless their being kept quiet or they are no good.but i aint heard a word of them and before anyone goes on a rant im not saying they are no good.
  2. excellent write up lads a great read and all excellent action pics all credit to your camra man fair play to yous in that cold
  3. so your saying its wrong to feed them a little somthing at 4/5 ish before a nights lamping?if so why?whos comparing a dog to a human with slower digest as surely even if this is true ,they would get benefit half way through night ? just thinking lads i always thought the reason for not feeding the dogs before running is that it can cause a twisted gut anyway i always feed mine after working them
  4. mate with all my dogs i control them with their food from a young age at feeding time i make them do something for their food ex/sit lay down, wait, stay and so on and i always make sure the make eye contact with me and dont break it till i let them feed and as they get older get them to jump and whatever else u need them to do like sit them at the end of the garden and call them in for their food. then after that i start throwing a ball for them not a lot just a bit and then coming along should in theory come naturally.

  14. is the stuff your thinking of giving him b12 if so its only really needed in older dogs young dogs create new blood cells themselves
  15. no mate, only little ears on these ones sorry mate they just looked quite large my mistake lovely looking dogs well done
  16. is that 5 long ears you got their
  17. a lot on here say a fox dog should not need any help he/she is bred for the job he/she has to be able to do it on his/her own well what about deer dogs their bred for that job should they be able to catch and dispatch deer on their own with no help from the hunter or is it different rules for different dogs to most on here. myself ill never let my dog get badly chewed up again and when i can i will have no problem stepping in and getting the job done quicker. anyway a great thread the best in a while on here
  18. i run my strike on 12v 14amp lithium and i get 3/4hours depending on the quary your looking for...ps its only the head thats diffrant.....all the best x38 ok mate thanks for the reply didnt know its just the head thats different
  19. i recently bought the 12 volt 14 amp lithium battery im just seeing if anyone has one and will ya get a night lamping out of it with the lightforce blitz
  20. yes mate i think your spot on in what you said. see genetics are not exact so when someone says they have a 3/4 gray 1/4 colly that might not be exactly right their could be more or less of either breed in the dog. so what i think is that the blood does stay in the dog even if its just a tiny bit its still their so what you think you might be breeding out might still have a tiny bit of whatever in it resulting in a lurcher
  21. just let the dog grow a bit more i wouldnt be giving pleanty of road work or even to much walking just yet. It looks like their is still a bit of growing in him by looking at his knuckles and the feet might just come up again. When he is a bit older you can try all the road/beach walking you like. just to let ya know i had one the very same and she never came right feet ended up like paddles they went that flat. Best of luck mate
