  1. I'm getting on better with it now, Gonna persevere while my scores are improving, The pigs ear helps lots, Once my scores level i'l look at a replacement
  2. Thanks dougy, spent some time in the garden getting eye relief then working with the rear focus, Cross hairs are fine when looking into the distance, I think i have to train my eyes to focus on the reticle, It drifts in and out of focus, but i'm sure that my gear is now set up correctly Thanks again
  3. Recently Started airgunning Using a S400 and im loving it, super accurate BUT i have a hawke 3-9 x 44 mildot scope and i cant seem to get on with it I started using a pigs ear which is great for eye relief but im still having trouble with focus, either the cross hairs or the sight picture are out of focus, The one thing i have tried yet is wearing my glasses instead of contacts but this will change my eye relief, anyone know what the parallax of the hawke is and if this could be the issue and also sorry if this is a stupid question
  4. Davy's advice looks great, i've moved to lincoln and recently started shooting, joined by local club but gonna seriously look for permission in the coming weeks I'l use the list for places i wouldn't have considered before
  5. Just to add I dont think JSB and AA fields are exactly the same, Ive got 2 side by side and the heads on exacts are slighly heavier/squatter in the head of the pellet. My S400 slightly favors the JSB but not much in it.
