    What lead do you use? I always use a standard gun dog slip lead. I like to use it high up on the neck. When he pulls, try a gentle tug sideways to let him know the behaviour is unwanted instead of pulling back against him in some kind of competition. I also find it pays to praise the dog when they are not pulling. The more I relax, the more relaxed the dog becomes. Try walking without such a tight lead (where safe). The 5 month old bitch I have now tends to pull when she's excited or scared, I have aslo read that it can be a sign of dominance. Patience and practice does seem to work for me

    try a loud sound everytime he pulls e.g a bottle wth a few pebbles in it, everytime he pulls just shake it so the pup knows its done wrong, cant guarantee it will work, atb with the pup. J.A thats a good idea .i always make a sound with me voice like git and he stops

    i can get bailey to sit and stay and fecth things back hes cani good .what els can i try with him i want him to be a good dog on the lead he seems to pull alot when out walkign him ?

    hesa good pup when its one on one with me and him if any one els is in the house he sems to lose hes attention with me .i want him to be a dog were hes of the lead and when i shout him he comes back to me .when i walk him i hold the lead with one hand and some of the lead in my left hand besuce he pulls alot and i want him not to pull as mutch

    just wondering weather to let bailey of hes lead while hes out and about. he only listens to me .wont bother with my fella or brother but not sure when to let him of the lead yet or not any of yous let your pupps of the lead yet

    Borrow a JRT for a couple of nights. RicW got some of them sticky mouse traps were they run ona nd cant gte back of gona see if they do the job lol

    thanks all i no is the lady said its a lurcher on lurcher and now just found out thta from when he was born she never once wormed him and hes worms are massive i have sorted the pup out now hes worms are going and just found out that she is moving her selling it .and the lad i no who boguht the girl pup has been fuming as the pup is dragging its back legs alot been doing it for a while now and got really bad eye infectyions vet said it could be off due to been born in the pen outside could have some sort of disease

    its really getting on my neaves now they running around the house from under fridge

    well my boiler in my kitchen kept breaking .so they came out and fitted 3 circuit boards with in a month .a man has just bene out to fix it yet again and it is filled with mice poo .the man said the mice are breaking the cuicrt board .we have killed loads in traps and bailey has got a canny few aswell .gona give my housing accotion a ring 2moro i feel rank noing have little ones and mice running about teh place i no feild mice are very common in houses during summer time .soon as kids are in bed tongith gona rip teh kicthen apart and clean all the sides and cuboards

    i looked on net and it said round worms but can grow bigger if never been wormed by previous owner?

    since i got bailey i feed him wet plus dry food in hes bowl witch has been brinign him on a treat vet said he was fine on the food just wonerded what eevrone els is giving they lurcher pup i need some help x

    i got bailey nearly 5 weeks ago and the lady told me .that he had been wormed so when i got him i wormed him again like the vet told me to .now tonight he had a poo in our living room hes only a pup still and learing he done it on paper and a worm came out about 8 or 9 cm long are they round worm and what can i do to get rid of all hes worms i dont even think the lady had wormed him becuse when i got him hes belly was bloated

    hes in a propper home you f*****g crank and i can ask for advice bet you for advice on things .my pup is well looked after fed up to 4 times a day gets walked every moring and every night and gets let out during day we have a big back yard for him to go in . god you going on like im going to kill him or somthing . and yes i do find he is weeing alot my friend has just got a lurcher puppy and said he harlds wees that mutch i was more concerned for my dog i thoguth he might have somthing wrong with him

    i am finding that bailey is weeing far too mutch i can leave him int eh kitchen for 10 mins to asnwer the phone or somthing fat like that and when i go back in its full everytime hes bowl is empty i fil it back up is that wrong and am i giving him to mutch water to drink
