I think i will stick to meat and adding veg and other nutritious foods when aquired. How some people feed the over cooked cereals to their working dogs amazes me! Where's the meat ???

No disrespect mate and im sure im not the only one who has thought it, those kennels/bedding are in piss poor condition. Cant see them being draught free, im sure the dogs work their heart out for you, give some respect back and get some off the ground kennels knocked up with less of an entrance hole, them plastic boxes are laying open exposing the dogs to all types of weather. Not looking to start a war of words, just some friendly advice, take it how you will. Nice dogs by the way.

Id sooner feed a tin of stella than that muck ! do more damage than good. Full of fallen stock jabbed to their last breath on god knows what. In an emergancy a lb of lean mince off the butcher with that boil in the bag microwave whole meal rice and boiled egg. All easy accesible locally up the high street next to the shop were you would buy that tin crap! no excuse.

Running and working the dog will speed up the crippling defect. If its a pet, just go by the rules and keep an eye on the quality of life. Get a second opinion from a recommended vet, vets these days seem to come down with amnesia quite a bit !

Feeding meat exclusively on its own is a sure way to shorten your dogs life span! do your homework, more than just meat is required for a balanced diet. It is the best feeding method to practice in my own personal opinion, but meat alone, dont do it. Theres enough info on google rather than start a dry versus meat war on here from self proclaimed experts. Get googling !

Dont run a pup on a mill , get him accustomed to it and run him on it when physically mature. Walk him slowly for many months as a youngster and he will learn to love it when it becomes part of his routine in time to come. Simple really, why all the negativity on mills , i will tell you why, lack of basic conditioning knowledge is what! Good luck with your pup and congrats to you for taking them time and interest asking as much as you can to do right by your canine buddie. Sounds he will have a good start in life with someone interested in his future well being. Hat's off to you.

Building muscle requires resistance, unless the dog was running on a constant incline running on a treadmill will not build "body builder" looking muscles, more so lean longer muscle. Any body building fanatic will tell you when building large muscle groups running for long periods of time is not on the agenda. It can have the adverse effect to building muscle. All this disagreement over a dogs grub LOL petty as f**k. Feed your dog what you see fit and suits your canine buddy and pocket, may it be dry food or tender lean steak. As long as the dog is happy healthy and MOST importantly WORKS without any degree of lacking, because the lack of something in his grub. Suppliment, dont be afraid to. Part deux as bad if not worse than part 1! Wtf is this guy on! Seems to me he is conditioning bulldogs (pit dogs) and not RUNNING dogs! Milk and protien shakes! Fluff me, is he aware the canine as a whole are lactose intolerant ? Feed natural real protien when required and not supplemented form for better results. This guy is a joke, and needs to get back to basics instead of quoting old "keeps" and using google as a nutritional tool.
