  2. alright mate picture of jed pic9 left hand side ,pic 3 is on the left hand side and pic15 is on the right hand side
  3. yes we are stronger than ever with better dogs
  4. do not get me wrong but it is nice to call foxes from june till october and then it starts getting harder as the foxes start getting educated, but in november to february they are fit due to the hunt keepers and such like and when gaffer made that statement it could have been a nov/feb fox which i have seen get away from single handed or paired up dogs .and sometimes their are no excuses for dogs missing them in big fields .this is a wild and educated animal that can run and turn and knows where he is going
  5. i have an original copy very clear ,just been reading some of the comments about the dogs ,they have run a lot off camera and some of them where a bit knackered and the ground was a bit harsh and i wish that video had never been let out ,stop buying it as there are a load of copies out there which are shit
  6. yes you can call hares in all year round ,when you are blowing the call if you can imagine a hare in distress that is what you need to make the call sound like ,i think hares come in because they think another hare is in distress ,i have called hares in to at least 2-3 yards and they can be called in day or night ,i found it best when the wind is quite strong ,find a nice gap in a hedge quite concealed then start calling
  7. i have been calling hares for years using a jonny stewart pc3, i call them at night and early mornings , what call do other people prefer
  8. this is answer to craigy boy i dont usually bite ,you did not answer my question if i put 10 foxes in front of a single handed dog how many would it catch ,you did not answer the question and you have never said how many your single handed dogs have missed ,maybe you should take a few steps back ,i think you should stick to rabbiting or have a night out ?
  9. i was down south calling foxes with 4 dogs they were all single handed but we did run paired up in november 14th ,two of the dogs had got bit on the ankle and only did 3 the second pair did 11 ,they were all big foxes but they would not have been able to go out the night after ,how would a single handed dog cope with all that
  10. its down to calling foxes for single handed or doubled up but how many is to many ,does such a dog exsist run ,catch, kill ,november, december, january ?
  11. it just depends what time of the season you are on about
  12. I've been asked and people have been moaning about doubling up and why not running single handed. put 10 foxes in front of a single handed dog, between 60 and 100 yards how many would that single handed dog catch? that's run catch kill. and would that dog be able to do the same thing the night after. Now the same question about doubling up, put the same amount of foxes amount in font of a pair of dogs and one or both of them would be able to run the night after. what im trying to say is in my opinion, if a single handed dog caught a decent amount then it wouldn't be able to run
  13. what a rush when a fox are foxes come runing in

Its a skill to use a lamp, call and know when to slip the dogs at the right time. Does that answer your question? yep i like the way the man on the lamp just gives a little shake of the lamp to let them know when to slip that is called the macky shake
