used to like the daytime myself but found foxes a bit on the dopey side had they may have been out all night gone to ground for a kip our lyed up somewhere it may have been warm ,then they have been bushed or dug out to guns or waiting lurchers ,the point i am making that when you are out at night using your lamping and calling skills you are playing the fox at its own game i dont mean foxes from august to october they are a bit on the numb side I mean foxes from november onwards that have been through the mill a bit what i mean by that rifle men, trappers etc i find that when you call a fox i

if the stupid ban had never taken place I would definately like to make a singles and a doubles foxing dvd but I am sure somebody would winge and whine about that but I bet it would be a good watch well just wishful thinking just to see which people would think was a good watch ?
-
the 2 black ones on the dvd are a good pair( lulu and ged ) never missed much ,the dog I owned was danny the saluki bull greyhound which was in the back of the transit van looking worse for wear like I say the dvds were for our use only they got out if it was left 2 me it would have been edited properly some things should have been took out some people slated the dogs for being paired up and some being sluggish the reason was some of the dogs had been out maybe for 5 nights ,sometimes the ground was not the right conditions but I still think it is funny when a friend of mine got bit http://y

nice dog pal hows it bred reminds me of my mates 2 dogs ronnie and troy we used to have fox running competitions between pairs of dogs and top trophies ,I have just spoke to my mate as he is the only 1 who has a dvd I will try and get it so I can show you the type of dog I am on about we went out with ronnie and troy had another couple of dogs as we had travelled down to wiltshire thats why travelling at a long distance you will need to take 2 pair as it is 2 far to come back if you just had 2 dogs ,anyway the night started well the first 2 dogs ran caught the fox good start then the other pai

Got my boots on, ready to go out, have a good evening lads, i'm sure i will.

no that is not what i am saying a good catch dog paired up you might not class it as single handed but they are worth there weight in gold when you are getting double figures ,before the ban had a couple of lads come up 2 hour drive and brought 2 dogs 1 a good catch dog and 1 a brawler in december the catch dog pulled 6 of them and the brawler caught 1 every time the catcher caught a fox it moved out of the road and the brawler finished it off seem like a good pair to me some people would say the catch dogs where shit i disagree even the brawler finished them off after the catch dog moved out
-
understand what you r saying but i would like agood night and not half a night which you would get with a single handed dog but each to there own not very sporting tho is it running two lurchers at a fox. is it not about testing one dog vs one fox.who gives fck bout n itaumbers if I had to run two dogs at one fox I wouldn't hunt. that's why it's all gone tits up too many shit heads worrying about numbers. and you are full of shit

so what you are saying is if a dog is paired up and it is a good catch dog and you are doing big numbers you are saying the dog is shit even though it is a puller and not a brawler .

as wilt said lined otter to bullseye which where pyes brother and sister and got a dog out of them which was warlock ,then lined it to a deerhound ,had a bitch out of that called trapper which was 28 inch to shoulder ,a mate of mine from wigan had shan which was 29 inch and also had a dog called chewy which was 30-31 inch whatever you put in front of them they would do the job specially the red

There is nothing wrong with paired up dogs if you get the right combination ,what I mean is a good catch dog and a game dog that is not as fast ,to me that makes a good pair .if you get 2 dogs that are evenly matched in speed there is a good chance of accidents happening ,we have been out 1 night lamping with a dog that had a few seasons under its belt so we ran it with another dog and they where evenly matched in speed .the bales where out and the foxe called and as the dogs where running the other dog cut it off at the bale and the other dog ran straight into it and broke its neck .what I am
