Sorry, but I just don't agree in the least. Apart from the fact that it's a criminal activity in itself, poachers are responsible for more damage & inconvenience than anyone realises. The old romantic 'one for the pot' view of a poacher is only held by the deliberately uninformed or ignorant. Blacktabs? You 'resist' those 'little sets' by reminding yourself that you don't have permission for them! If you've asked, & it's been refused, then obviously a reason exists & you'd do well to remember that. you dont say how old the dog is, i,ve seen older dogs that have caught plenty go off retrieving, nothing nicer than a pup carrying it,s catch back makes all the training worthwile

so do most of them jump or just stop at fences and let what they chase get away or do they run for the nearest opening to get through or just run up and down going mentle no mate your confused a dog that stops at a fence or any other obstacle is called a stasher and while you lads up in scotland keep buying them there will always be someone willing to sell them cant you train an adult dog to jump

ferreting this morning with my pup 12 mth bolting rabbits for him he caught 3 then took a nice cock pheasant jumped a barbed wire fence about 4ft and it was double stranded got himself caught up in it nice tear on his chest feeling sorry for himself now. no lamping tonight

always teach them to jump all part of their education its not all big fields and fens alot of my permission small fields plenty of hedges and wire as i found out this morning dog laid up now got caught on double stranded

so you dont know its got ricketts? never seen it in owning dogs 30 odd years you should know everything there is to know about diet the questions you,ve been asking. if its only a pup they change all the time while there growing ie big nuckles, feet that look straight one day and turned out the next give it a proper diet complete feed, meat, tripe, chicken extra calcium if in doubt get it to a vets because if it is rickets its neglect on your part did you used to be called country boyo

aye thats me albert jelousy is a bitter pill mate it always tastes sour ps the bitch is doing well in the day working very well with the gun thanks for your interest tho just for you she retrieved 7 out of 12 so far jealous of what a dog that can lamp hares doubled up you put this up on another site and slagged langley charmer for slipping in all the time if your trying to make it a day dog i suggest you stop lamping them or there wont be any to run lets see does it do as well on your planned visit to lincon country joe,s got mark of you well bob thing is i have your card m

theres no sport in lamping hares and shooting them i just dont agree with it. Neither do i but we are not allowed to course hares in the uk hares are for daytime not for when its dark with a million candle power in its face,its just that some men have,nt got the balls or the dog to go out in the day
