  18. now i no some saluki x seem "laid back" but i am a firm beliver in a dog knowing what quarry he is running. take a saluki x that runs a hares on the fen i dont think the next time it goes on the lamp its going to be giving a bunny a 5 min course on the lamp. dogs know the differance in the quarry its running and will adapt to suit it in my The thing is a dog run how it runs they don't change that much when on diffrent quarry ...it is bred in them coursing dogs for a reason and it not to run rabbit on the lamp..
  19. never had 1 so dont know, but lamping most quarry you need dog to get up to them quick, maybe that style would lose alot of game. But a lurcher x to good coursing dog you would think on to a winner, with speed of the lurcher and stamina of the coursing dog.But can see why coursing blokes dont run them regular in the lamp, as any injury from lamping the last thing they want ,when daytime its main job.!! You say speed of the lurcher but a coursing saluki x anit slow it's the running style that makes them look slower than they are..my mate has a coursing breed dog that he has brought up lampi
