  1. Alright lads just wondering how much you're paying for meat for dogs and where from. Price per kilo or lb would help and location. Seen alot of boys on the site looking stuff and thought it would help them out.
  2. I think clulites are good we lamps, Reliable as they come and also have good mechanism that lets the filter swivel up and down with ease unlike some other makes on the market. The only downside i would have is the range of the beam is not as good as other makes but it would rather have a shorter beam than trying to fix things all the time with other lamps.
  3. I usually work by eye myself. Every dog is different , so each diet has to be tailored to each dogs need.
  4. To much speed not enough stamina imo. Fast dogs have more of a chance of getting hurt than a slow dog. Sadly most greyhound nowadays couldn't cope with rough ground at the speeds they've been bred to go.
  5. he got a few years on him, obviously done you proud to get a pup of him Have to admit mate i bought him in his later years mate. Hard as nails while i had him. I retired him last season but started his pup this an she's done eveything asked of her so far.
  6. People don't care about anything apart from making a few £ pal. Same with every breed there's a market for.
  7. If I'm ever going to buy a new pup i go for X that will best suit my needs. An for what lines it comes of then as long as the sire and dam are proven. Then i don't see the point in looking any further in to the line than that. So what if its great great grand parents done this and that. If the sire and dam couldn't then there no point breeding from them. But as the others say you only get out what you put in where ever the pup comes from.
  8. I think it's the litter sister he has for sale mate.
  9. This is Charlie my Wheaten/Bull/Grey. 9 months at min still only a pup.
  10. Good to see politicians having a bit of sense for a change.
  11. He's standing about 24/25 tts now mate. He's the 1st lurcher I've owned with wheaten in mate. But have seen a few work and would recommend this cross. Also I've found his coat excellent compared to my bull X's coat.
  12. This is my pup Charlie Wheaten/Bull/Grey. 8 months in pic.
  13. Personally for me a good rabbiting dog has to have a spot on retrieve and be able to work with ferrets. Catch rate ways I wouldn't expect any dog to catch 9/10 out of 10 every time i took it out. As Long as i know its putting in 100% its good enough for me. But i couldn't justify a dog catching regularly and then having to walk to where ever the dog left it. So id have to say retrieving is a necessity in a good rabbiting dog.
