Hi mate there can be no way of knowing unless you try im sorry to say. As i said in another post the problem the pup has is not of its own doing. It has just been entered to young for its own good and is yapping outta frustration or excitement. If its a nice enough dog an you feel yourself that it would come good then i would take a chance My advice would be for you to keep it away from any work for the next few months. Keep at the basic's ( Training , Fitness etc) Then start him back slow with easy run's and hopefully it comes good for you. atb NOOK/ANNA

Hi, Guys just wanted to know your views on different dry meal types on offer for your dog's? Ive seen a few topics on this site asking what greyhound meal is best for your dog and protien content etc. But i was just wondering would a working dog meal with a slightly lower protien content an extra carbohydrates benifit a working lurcher better? As the needs are differnt as a lurcher is expected to run multiple times in an outing where as a greyhound races once or twice a week max.

Offal and tape worms

As far as im aware rabbit offal does contain tapeworms. The safest way to stop any infestation to your dog is to cook the offal first or freeze it for at least a week to kill of any worm's. Better safe than sorry. atb -

Just got thinking that there shuld be a new section started for people offering the services of there dog's up for stud. As ive seen a few post's lately offering this being moved off the section they put it up in. What you guy's think?

I THINK IT CAN VARY BY THE BREED AN GENDER OF THE PUP! BUT USUALLY AROUND THE 12MONTH MARK WOULD BE AVERAGE FOR ANY DOG IVE OWNED. AN AT THAT I WOULD START THEM OF SLOW AS THE MIND AN BODY ARE STILL AT A PUPPY STATE AT THIS AGE IN MY VIEW. TO MANY YOUNG DOG'S ARE RUINED BY ENTERING TO EARLY FOR EXAMPLE OF OPENING UP OUT OF FRUSTRATION OF NOT BEING ABLE TO COME TO TERMS WITH THEIR QUARRY. AN INJURIES BECAUSE THEIR SKELETAL AND MUSCLE SYSTEMS HAVENT HAD A CHANCE TO STRENGHEN TO A LEVEL TO SUPPORT THE VIGOURS AN STRESS'S PUT APON THEM.

I would recomend you try a colour filter on your lamp mate. It can make a great differnce on lampshy rabbits. They dont seem to be able to pick up the coloured light aswell. It might make up them yards your looking for. An id say by the sounds of it id have to agree with the other lads that someone else lamps your land aswell as you. atb

Just wondering if any of you guy's tanned rabbit skin's? And what method you's use? I know how to do the salting method. But was watching a programme 2nyt an they used hot water an egg?!! Could anyone give me any info on this method or any other differnt method?

All we use is an old car seat belt stiched to make a strap to fit over your shoulder. Then just hock the rabbits. Cost nothing to make so you can make a couple an drop your catches of whenever you need.

did she come from hull way?nice pup going to be strong,ive got a pup very similer same age,that came from hull hes a monster already 21 and 55lbs No mate im from across the water in northern ireland. Have you any pic's of your pup? Would like to see him. Sounds tho he's a nicely bult dog.

This what i was wondering. I always thought russells where predominantly white. But this guy told me it was a black an tan russell. Ive never came across them before so didnt know anything about them. Just wanted to know what their temperment is like with kid and other dogs. Aswell as the background on the working history of the breed just. So do you think it would be a fell X russell?

Hi guy's just wondering does anyone of you hunt with black and tan russells? AN have you any pic's of your dogs? Terriers being new to me and with just being offerd a pup bred like this. Would find any info helpfull?
