Jusar/Myndoc Whippet Dog for sale
jusar whippets replied to jusar whippets's topic in Working Dogs & Livestock
Really?? And what would you know? Are you a breeder of whipps then? I can assure you he is 100% purebred. Thankyou -
I am sadly having to release one of my whippet dogs. He is 23TTS and exteremely rapid. Good in the day, (Not used on the lamp yet) 23 months old and was used to line one of my bitches. He is Myndoc/Jusar lines and is a full purebred. He is one of the quickest day dogs you will come across and has a lovely temparement. Good with all other dog, kids etc... He is a randy git and i can't afford him to get at my other bitches and disrupt my lines. He comes with full pedigree but no KC reg. He has taken third overall in a show, and is awesome with ferrets and catches during the day,

Is a trial available? Looking to add to my stock as my main dog is out of action for the next 6 months

Good luck with the sale of your pups. More than likely some of the "In the Know" dog dickheads on here will slag off whipppets, but they never can prove that whipps can't work. (come here and i will show you a dog & bitch as hard as nails, day & night and will fill a freezer) All the best with the sale of your pups though, don't let the keytboard warriors who have never seen "PROPER WORKING" whippets ouit in the field put you off. All the best

I use the LedRay (fixed red LED) unit and it's awesome. Small, light and has a pressure switch aswell. It lights up a dream and the rabbits don't seem to get spooked as much as with my other larger lamp. The range is pretty good, prob around 75 feet with decent illumination, futher is okay as long as i crank up the mag on the scope. The only downside is the battery useage, the CR2 type batts only last one evening if i'm lucky (1300Mah) items. I've tried rechargeable ones but they are pants and the power drop of is extreme. All in all i can't fault the LedRay, and have never had

Thinking of buying a new shotgun

Mossberg 935 Magnum semi looks a good bit of kit -
Cheers mate Yes, semi is sorted, just that some clay & driven shoots don't allow semi's , so thats why two needed really.

Just a quick tip here, i only use wood shavings for bedding and i bag it into around 3 or 4 large carrier bags from the main bale and i pop it in the chest frezzer for 48 hrs, this way any unwanted visitors in the shavings are dead when you get it out to put it in the court. Just my little way, but seems to work pretty good.

My grandad was a ferreting demon, he always used to spit on the back of his hand and let the stinkers lick it off, he never had one that bit as they saw the hand as a place to have a nice lick. I must say with mine, 2 hobs and two jill, i've done the same and i have never had a proper nip. Mine love bog rolls, and it's so funny watching my polecat jill walking around inside a bog roll tube, looks like a boob tube for stinkers!!

Interesting incident with travellers
jusar whippets replied to jusar whippets's topic in General Talk
Mr Socks Esq - My learned colleague who knows me inside out!! You don't know me or maybe you do????? as you seem to have quite an opinion, where i come from or what i have done in my life, so unless you know the complete facts about my life then quit and find someone else to have a go at as you seem bored, and quite eager to make your own assumptions based on written text as opposed to fact As you know all of the score, but as i have been out for ????? Years (well you guess as you seem to know more than me) and as you seem to have all of the answers etc....) or if you would like to ta -

Clown?? Hmmmm, if i had of said shot at, then all the muppets on here like you, (which one are you, animal, kermit or the moaning old fart on the balcony)?? Would have said it was an air rifle and then we would have another load of crap about something completely irrelavent. PS: Check out what 264 was, and not what you think it is, the word attached comes to mind pal! I'm leaving this site now for good , as it is just childish and full of people who are "Have a go" heroes behind their computer screens. Sorry to all the genuines on here, good luck. -

Righto chaps, & the children on here! Seems that some people on here think this is made up, it just goes to show that there are some pretty childish un-educated people on here with midget intelligence and the IQ of a fence post! Like i said, i knew they were Irish travellers, Or maybe they were english gypsies or sorry "ethnic minority" and under funded by the EU and have the right to park wherever they like with no tax, MOT or insurance, but as they are an "ethnic minoirity" then i feel that that is fair and i'm going over to the recently found camp a mile away from my permission -

Hi all What are the cops going to do apart from poke the nose in?? Like i said, this thread wasn't a dig at the Irish (PLEASE READ THE THREAD) Just that these fella's had Irish accents and made the mistake of shooting at me. I can only answer for myself (Maybe my years in the forces - i'll leave you to guess what regiment i was in) allowed me to be a bit more upfront and try and approach them. Put it this way, i have no problems going up against p***y poachers anytime. There is this belief that most people would end up in a shallow grave if you mess with travellers etc... But -
Agreed, don't matter if a bitch or a dog, it's what you put into it that counts!!

Cheers for the concern chaps. I am still pretty angry at what happened and it came close to me giving up the sport, but then they have won We all know poaching goes on and we have all at sometime or other maybe done a cheeky field with a public footpath running up it for 10 mins etc.., but this was just taking the piss to be truthful. Is no ground sacred anymore? -
I went out for a shine the other night on one of my main permissions (i'm the only fella with permission) with my beddy x whippet, just for a bit of a walk and maybe a few grass rustlers!! Anyway, i saw a rabbit in the lamp and slipped the dog from about yards, then all of a sudden the dog put the brakes on for some reason and stood rigid with his hackles up on his back, then i spotted a quick flash of an LED torchlight around the back of the orchard area. I called the dog back and put him back on the lead and and then a very aggressive irish voice shouted at me to "f**k off away!" I

Sold my S400... Now need some wise advice
jusar whippets replied to tdesnos's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
I'm looking at the Daystate Mk4, the HW100 (carbine) and the AA S510, the HW100 seemed far too heavy for me, well made yes, but it would be like carrying a brick around for most of the night. So now i'm stuck between the daystate Mk4 and the AA S510, although the HW100ncould still be in with a chance depending on the accuracy, but up to 40 yds, is there anything to choose between them.I have an S200 which does everything that is askd of it, but i would just like more of a shot count and maybe more pellets in the mag (which the AA & Daystate don't have over the S200) Basically, are -
Daystate Mk4
jusar whippets replied to jusar whippets's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Cheers lads I tried the AA510 and it is extremely light for what it is, and also it fits me perfect. The Daystate Mk4 seemed a bit heavy even when it was bare, (ie no scope, lamp or bipod) so i am proper confused at the mo as to what to get?????????? -
Daystate Mk4
jusar whippets replied to jusar whippets's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Cheers Sean. It's either the Mk4 or the AA S510 carbine at the moment??????? -
Anybody use them in the field (hunting) and any feedback on accuracy etc...

Hi folks I'm looking at getting a game gun (over & under) and a semi auto, i have around £600 for each, and i am perplexed at the different models etc... I know that you can't get a shotgun to do everything, hence i will get two. My main quarry will be rabbit, canadian geese, duck, pidgeon, crows, rooks and squirrels etc.... Can anybody shed some light on what i should be looking at please, i would prefer something quite light and 28" barrels with multichokes. Has anybody got any experience with Midland Gun Company Semi's and Marrochi A12? My main requiremnt on the over &a
