  1. most terriers will take to ratting. doesnt take much training, just take him out when he is old enough with a bunch of other terriers that know the job, let him watch for a bit, then let him go for it. So its more of an instinct then Im looking at patterdales

  8. Im wanting to start rabbiting & may be ratting. Just wanting to know what dog would best suit the job I like the look of patterdale terriers & bedlington X whipet or lurcher. Ant ideas would be great. Ta Tom
  9. Thank you all for your help. We do have two cats but one is a kitten so i will not be getting a dog for a lil while.Is there any type I should try and stay clear of. I like the beddlington or deerhound type with the longer fur Ta Tom
