    Rang farmer last night for update on rabbit numbers as mixy done a lot of damage here last season, good news theres a few about he said.bad news is I would like you to do the road side as they are undermining the stone wall.     Gills most the time ive got a couple of dogs to try this season though, a lot of the warrens I work are big old deep things so I like to put up to six at a time in(six on sunday) , otherwise rabbit just give them the runaround.

    Started on the river bank today as seen a few on the lamp here, put the longnets around the first part and cut it up with short nets .using four last years gills and two younsters put the lot in nothing for about 15 mins, then four one after the other .got another five over half an hour then the ferrets started to show, five of them out no sign of number 6 so out with the nocker got a mark 7 fooking foot took over an hour to reach number 10 in the bag ready for a cuppa now.     WarmTea bags are spoton used them lots of times on ferrets pigeons dogs, dont know how it works but it does.sometimes young ferrets eyes dont open properly and just need a wipe to ease them open.hope this helps.
