There are many good products on the market available to counter Customers, the best one that can be bought over the counter is the Birchwood Casey blu & rust remover, but to remove the rust from any metal is by hand useing different grades of grit as not to damage address, if there is any rust or pitting & bluing hot or cold is placed over the top it will show through as a ginger colour & carry on rusting, home use cold blu is pretty poor, but if you have a small area to cover it is ok, but it must be preped realy well with bare oil free metal showing. foxon. so 2 get the m
  2. iv used wd40 and loads of different oils on my gun but it will not get the rust off anyone got a sugestoin??? if i re-blue over the rust will that get rid of it???
