Thanks pal .Really looking forward to them up and working . I had there great grand mother and bred there grand mother and both were very good :I had great days and nights with them . Hopefully these two ladies will be half as good.

Run an electric cable straight from your mains to your gate and turn it on when you go to bed and make sure your dogs are in and I gaurantee you they will never bother you again . People like them are lower than a snakes belly . They are pure scum .

Hopefully these two little girls will fill my pot someday ????????? Rose and Lucy

My two boys and Misty out for a walk today in the hope of meeting a few rabbits , but unfortunately there was no luck . But the lads enjoyed themselves . We will head out for a lamp tonight wind is up and hopefully stays up . What would we do without our dogs ?

Yes I had her out with another young dog and he was doing exactly what she is doing now .Im not saying that is the reason she is doing it' its just that i have a lot of experience with lurchers and i never seen a dog or bitch doing that. Normally if they start retrieving they continue to retrieve.Im not saying i know everything about lurchers but this has me really puzzled.I would love to be able to solve it because she has the making of a good one.

Has anybody ever seen a dog going from retrieving to stop retrieving in the space of a couple of nights .
-
Dogs are a credit to you , both dogs look spectacular.

I agree with ya i blame myself for the problem because i think i pushed her too far too soon .

back to the tennis ball or dummie for that dog lad dont take her out untill shes 100% on recall again they will be plenty off time for lamping. did u try walking away and not taking her on it works on some dogs . I walked away and stood at the gate where we entered the field and i had a little hand torch so i turned it on so that she knew where i was .When she had caught the rabbit she came back towards me and then circled away from me . She was 110% at retrieving but has suddenly stopped .

Last night i didnt have another dog it was actually her first night out on her own , the slip was a short slip and she caught it very quick. Great catch but unfortunately bad retrieve. I think i am expecting too much too young I would say she is only 60% ready. What is really confusing me is that she was retrieving back to hand but has stopped. Good questions Thanks
