  5. Lets not kid ourselves, The title working lurcher should have been dropped from shows many years ago as a high pecentage of dogs winning best in shows are no more than carpet dogs, the owners dare not let them of the lead for fear of injury, but may I add that there is still the rare occasion when a true worker will take the glory. The job of the Judge is a thankless job
  6. Sounds like a good day out, might have to give it a look.
  7. NLRC are the organisation that don't have Bull X classes at their shows either ................. Not strictly so Strong Stuff, I run a show for the NLRC in the north east and I can tell you that I have qualifiers for two BULL X championships and have class's for Terrier Pups so whats the problem with people out there, do they just like confrontation !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. Sounds like sour grapes, the dog that won the over 26" is no show pony but a very good all round worker and as for his owner, well, he was only asked to judge the working dog class two hours before the class.

  13. Hi Fellboy, If the entered Terrier class is a qualifier for Danny Sykes Earth Dog Running Dog Championship then it's run as an extra class and won't qualify for the show champ. I think you'll find most show are running it this way.
