    for posting the classes!! Just wondering if you are having a class for border terriers as there's not one on your list? Was going to bring ours along but there's no class listed he can go into , thought I'd double check before bringing him ? Also couldn't be at the show last year so was wondering what you charge in and how much for classes and racing entries etc? See you Saturday

    The Sporting Whippet Club N.I. will be holding their next show & race event of 2012 on Sunday 22nd July....see details below: Whippet Show & Race Day (Pure bred whippets only) - Sunday 22nd July , 2012 @ 12 0’clock mid-day. ... DUNSILLY KENNELS, Milltown Road, Antrim. BT41 2JJ * All dogs racing at this event MUST be muzzled * A catering van will be in attendance at the show - Signing in for racing between 12 - 12.30 pm, no late entries will be taken - all dogs to be taken up to the tent when booking them in for the racing. - Grading for the racing at approximately

    Hi Danny, I am assuming thet whippet pups can only go in the 'pup' class with all the various lurcher pups am I right? ..... or are you expecting them to go in the whippet class? Just wondering ?

    Hi Rollerman, Yes Rushden Black Caviar 'Ash' was shown in the puppy class and was placed third on this occasion, she did however win the puppy racing for the second time in a row. Thanks for your comments . (Thats her in my profile pic) Tracy

    at least 1 year old, but sure is puppy class not for 1 year olds and younger, so if the winner of puppy class is 1 year old exactly then would it not be old enough to be a fine example of its breed type. is this the way all shows work the puppy winner does not be in the final along with all the other class winners of its breed. I think you will find that at most if not all of the shows, a puppy is classed as a dog under the age of 1 year, on the day it turns 12 months and has it's first birthday it is no longer a puppy it is an adult and has to enter the appropriate class.
