    I take this to mean that you currently have 1 whippet that is KC/ IKC registered and another one that is unregistered with a kennel club, is that what you mean (1 with registration papers and one without) ?

    At pedigree shows Veterans are 7 years and over under English KC rules and 8 years and over under Irish KC rules, and yes as Albert has said both pups and veterans can compete in the final line up for Best of Breed. I too think the Veterans should have their own class and then be allowed to compete for the overall champion/ best or breed at the working shows, especially at those where they class veterans as 6 years old or above - I currently have two 6 year old whippets who are 'in their prime' and can easily compete with the best of the youngsters, and a 9 year old who is as fit as a fiddle

    Really happy with these classes I have to judge Could you please clarify the age of the 'Veteran Whippets' Albert, The terriers and lurcher state over 8 years..........I assume it will be the same for the whippets? Tracy x No Tracy, the veterns have been shown in vetern classes at 6 years and 7 years in the Lurcher, Terrier and Whippet world. Never been asked for 8years and over yet Hi Margaret, Alberts original post on here states that the Veteran Classes for both terriers and Lurchers are over 8 years old, so I just wanted him to clarify if it was over 8 for the wh
