    I certainly do remember getting a first in a hard fought class of 3, and very nice it was too. My point was, you have been round the shows for 3 or so years, learned about how they are run, done some judging I believe, and although I' m a gnats whisker off being a pensioner, couldn't quite see why you thought it was 'strange', when most others follow the same system, but there you go. Wouldn't know about anyone else being asked to judge, as you said, because that shows nothing to do with me, I just help out a bit if they shorthanded.     In reply to Celtic Hound wondering about the stewards showing. cast your mind back to last year. I think I'm right but you judged the Members Class last year, the only class the stewards can enter on the day, odd that you forgot. The other judges were asked by the organiser, I believe, to judge the Bull X and the EDRD qualifier class. Every other show that runs these qualifiers does the same, as I am sure you know, because its a condition of the qualifing class. You get to most shows and no doubt have a wealth of knowledge gained over at least 3 years, so is this just a dig at the NLRC, Hartl

    Found this in March, near sand dunes on scrub land. Didn't know what it was and never seen one before in that location. Someone identified it for me and said it was good eating. When I went back, it had been kicked to smithereens

    Bloody hell it looks cold and it WAS cold No dogs with us, they were tucked up nice and warm in their kennels The judges look thrilled to have finished before they froze to death, bet they still thawing out today But a good day had by all

    Bike racing at Assen, brilliant Otherwise, lurcher and terrier show, Hartlepool. Terrier show at Easingwold, North Yorks. Ashfield Terrier and Lurcher club show at Pleasley. Hope that helps
