A good working terrier and lurcher show is not measured by the number of trade stands or by the quality of clay shooting etc. In my humble opinion its measued on the quality of the enterants, the judging and the set up of the racing. Game shows are only run to show the general public a glimse of working dogs, and not for the working doggy man/ woman.
There are many much better smaller shows all over the country. There is often a lot more thought put in to the racing in these smaller shows which tend to be particulary poor in these larger shows
