These scales are the old counter balance ones from old and are very accurate and have served me well for the past 10yrs or so, they are strong and durable and in good condition, i have weights from 4lb down to 1/4oz and ideal for the falconer as i have developed them into scales for hawks or falcons and would even take eagles. I want £40 for them and collect from warrington as they would be a bit heavy for post, probably double.

When you applied for a FAC you had to state which calibre rifles you needed and for what purpose you need them for, every application has exactly the same questions. So, you would have put .22 RF rifle and for whatever reason you needed it. You can buy a .22rf rifle and use it for the reasons it was granted. Both are written on your FAC. John yeh thanks i put down .22 rimfire for the control of fox vermim and ground game, so was wondering if i asked do you think they would review my licence so mabe i could get a 223 as i want to shoot fox

I have been granted my FAC licence and think i made a mistake by just putting rimfire on the application form so if i just have rimfire on my ticket what guns exactly can i buy or should i say what gun will i be limited to, and if only standard rimfire if there is such a thing what ground game will that cover

My sons house had very hollow walls and could'nt fit it any where in the house so the police told him to fix it in the attic so thats what he done, bit of a pest to get his gun out every time he go's shooting.

I put in for mine 13 wks ago had me visit 10 wks ago and heard nothing, i have never heard of any 1 getting an open licence from the start mate unless like you said different area and that, and as far as air fac go im sure you can have loads of fun wid that i put in for my fac air gun and rimfire but like you said its alot of money but once you have it there is alot of places you can use it where you cant shoot your rimfire and you could always save up for your better gun while having fun wid you air rifle, dont forget you can still take ground game at good distance with your air only have to

Hi Mantha, There is obviously a big difference between the size of a fox and the size of a rabbit, so in general your going to need two separate calibres to control the two different species. Then you need to ask yourself what you want to do with the rabbits, obviously the foxes will not be for the table. There is a growing and IMHO sickening culture of "the more mashed the better" & "the more gruesome my kills the better I am". Not so long ago people took pride in shooting rabbits for the table, a well placed shot and a good source of free range meat. These days if you can blow the b

If you have a plug in charger it should have 2 lights come on when you plug it in, a RED 1 and a GREEN 1 you should leave it on untill the green light go's off, it should be charged. hope this helps

Could any tell me what the daystate air ranger is like fired at fac and what is the best power, i have heard different things about it being better around 28ft-pound or is it still as accurate at 40ft-pound. The other thing is, is there in the peoples opinion a better gun on the market other than the airwolf, just need a few ideas before i buy my new gun, I have £1200 to spend its took me a long time to save it and dont want to make a mistake, i did set my heart on an air ranger or an airwolf but heard a few different things like there having alot of guns sent back with problems.

I just sold my tx200hc and it was the best springer i have ever shot, very accurate and i have witnesses to prove i have had rabbit head shot 1 shot kills at 40yrds plus, the only thing i didnt like was it was a tad on the heavy side other than that great all rounder, thumbs up from me
