  1. SORRY I POSTED THIS TOPIC TWICE I THINK. he is 1/2 dalmation 1/4 black lab 1/4 pig dog(not shaw of what line) he is dal size and shape. not like his dad size wise (sire was a BIG black solid dog) and his dam was of a show dog line, i knew the sire and dam. he was a good stayer as in running for km's at top speed and could hunt all day. i'm a fan of big running dogs but want to keep the size down in my own line if pos. or should i breed him to a grey just to get pups? or a whippet?or?

Hi all in hunting land got an old dog that is 13 years old and 22inch at shoulder, and not shaw what to put him to? he is retired now and lives the good life, but i am leaning towards putting him over a whippet bitch if pos or puttig his wrigglers on ice till its a good time to play with pups again. i just don't know how long my old hunting mate has 4 this world. he is to smart for his own good at times (i.e. locking you out of the house or opening the front door to take himself for a walk) but he used to be great at pointing(marking), flushing and trying to run down, if he had the room t

SO i.ve got to look 4 heart in the dog first, then chest size i,ve got two bitches at the min (i'll get the tape measure out and double check if these sizes are right) one is about 9 or 10 inchs tall and has a chest span of about 6 inch and has a very bussy atitude when out the bush. The other, is her doughter and is 12inch at shoulder and about 8 inch may be 9 inch wide(seams to solid for size) and just seams to want to chase her mum when out 4 a hunt, (witch is starting to p!ss me off) and not the same drive as the mum, so all thing considered, should i keep the 42 week old bitch or get rid
