Yes, it is a strange one and thank you for elaborating rather more.. a gallery rifle is very accurate with optical or without right up to 50 / 70 yards yards.....i just have rather a nuisance fox who is very persistent in the garden on the farm. Just out if interest, I have an open FAC, a .22, a .243 and a .308 on it with no conditions.....I am thinking about purchasing a gallery rifle a la Winchester .44 magnum for gallery rifle discipline. For my variation, can I specify use on fox as well as use it for gallery rifle? What will the old bill say? Anyone with experience? Especially in the states they take down all sorts large game with these?
