haven't seen this sort but seen the orange sqaure mesh used for whole fields the only this is they need to be maintained well cause if something falls or get blown on to the wire it will short out and wont work.

Shot a hole through the roof of my old car with the rimmy, was loading it up to shoot a magpie, when i looked it had made a flap in the roof so i folded it back and put celotape on it

You can top to toe them so they stand on end fit alot more in this way

Well done with that, for beating this time of year it will be mostly woods now, good pair of wellies some leggins nice warm coat, beaters flag not many left on the beaters trailers now, easy to make with a hazel stick and feed bag, oh and a hip flask with some nice sloe gin in it -

I'm sure others may say different, but by the sounds of it you haven't got any rifles or guns at all, i would say get an air rifle not fac then work your way up through the ranks, do not jump straight in to a high power rifle for your first choice. shot gun maybe but go to some clay grounds with other sgc holders to show u some tips not having a go just mho

Most i had on my own was 23 normally get 10 -15 hardly ever net, bolt to gun as nearly always on my own, never gone for longer than 2 hours as the fert get knackered

I have done a couple of times the first was not intentional but great results, rats will bolt very quickly when you put the ferret in a good hob will easilly sort out a rat, as for getting disease from rat holes think that is a long shot rats go down rabbit holes too.

Got one to start but the snow has nearly cleared so will start it this week, cleared the same field 2 years ago and had 63 of it got some trapline traps to try this time aswell cant wait to get them down

Truth be known I'm sure must of us have played on ice. I fortunatly wasn't foolish eough to venture out onto anything deep. To top it I remember a group of blokes driving a Mini on a frozen fishing/water sking lake when I was a lad!!! Remember my dad telling me that in the 70's our local fishing lake was 16inch thick with ice and they had a car and a fire on it, everybody was skating aswell
