  1. To make the trigger better use a piece of wood the same width as it is from the door pushed in to the middle of ur cage, cut this piece of wood in half then put in place, this under tension will hold the door open and can easily be triggered when the birds land on the pirch, crows can be crafty to catch, look around your land to see where the crows sit, i.e single trees around fields where they have good views around them. place the trap under neath these, bait this time of year would be carrion as the birds haven't started laying yet, it would be alot easier if you had a call bird but then ur

    what gaurd dog?

The only time i was intimidated when i was working for the councils dog warden side was when i was told to go and picked up a 'BIG DOG' when i got at the address the people who found it in there garden were pointed for me to go through the gate, i peered over the gate and it was the biggest american bull dog i have ever seen, i walked in and it stopped stood broad side looking straight at me then charged with its tounge hanging from its mouth, my arse went that tight i couldn't even fart let alone shit myself, i quickly turned and went for the gate but fumbled the latch, it jumped on my back a
  7. haven't seen this sort but seen the orange sqaure mesh used for whole fields the only this is they need to be maintained well cause if something falls or get blown on to the wire it will short out and wont work.
  8. FOX put the ferret down some rabbit holes and it was down for bout 10 mins nothing it came out and went down another hole under some brambles then bout 1 min went by and i heard some crashing in the brambles and out bolted charlie, i paused for a sec, as i could not believe it then thought 'shoot it' so i lifted the gun quickly bang missed it ran into some reeds then came out the other side bang missed it then ran round the pond and passed me about 20 yards i quickly reloaded 1 cartridge and shot again but the fox stopped as i shot so i missed it infront, then legged it across the field,

  13. Question: How do you tell the difference between a UK Police Officer, an Australian Police Officer and an American Police Officer? Answer: Pose the following question: THE SCENARIO You're walking down a deserted street with your wife and two small children. Suddenly, a dangerous looking man with a huge knife comes around the corner, locks eyes with you, screams obscenities, and raises the knife and charges. You are carrying a Glock .40, and you are an expert shot. You have mere seconds before he reaches you and your family. What do you do?

  16. BSA Meteor has about 8.5 ft lb when in good nick that is more than enough to kill a rat
  17. I'm sure others may say different, but by the sounds of it you haven't got any rifles or guns at all, i would say get an air rifle not fac then work your way up through the ranks, do not jump straight in to a high power rifle for your first choice. shot gun maybe but go to some clay grounds with other sgc holders to show u some tips not having a go just mho
  18. More bait down the holes, cover with bricks, they will dig there way out takes few days for poison to work remove all other food stuff.
  19. Most i had on my own was 23 normally get 10 -15 hardly ever net, bolt to gun as nearly always on my own, never gone for longer than 2 hours as the fert get knackered
  20. I have done a couple of times the first was not intentional but great results, rats will bolt very quickly when you put the ferret in a good hob will easilly sort out a rat, as for getting disease from rat holes think that is a long shot rats go down rabbit holes too.

To top it I remember a group of blokes driving a Mini on a frozen fishing/water sking lake when I was a lad!!! Remember my dad telling me that in the 70's our local fishing lake was 16inch thick with ice and they had a car and a fire on it, everybody was skating aswell
