when fishing the worm I use a strip of lead through the swivel as it tends not to get caught on too many rocks. the shrimp is fairly easy if you know the depth of the river. just thread your line through through the shrimp pin and tie on a treble on the end and hook it on to the shrimp and fish below a stick float. you are better fishing it just off the bottom. I've always found it better at first light for salmon, usually setting up when its still dark. hope this helps

that pic was took last year in october and as i said the hare was shot i was using it in the garden for some retrieving practice so don t judge me on what you would probebly do ,coursing s illegal anyhow anytime of the year i might point out ,now go away to where you came from if you can t add anything constructive to this thread, there s always one Well my sencere appoligies old chap. You can clear fisheries lots of other ways too and alot more effectively But surely It's the place In which It's used rather than the otter board or type of fishing that should be banned? They were used a lot on bigger places that other techniques might not of worked maty. I've seen some boards carrying 30 + flies and lures. They were a lot easier to use if you had someone un hooking for you that way you could cover a fair old distance in a night.
