A minority of the fans are bigoted. not all. Also you will see more violence at most english derby games or even normal games than the scottish games. At least the bigoted violence has history too it not just some casual firm wanting to make a name for them self. I'm not saying I agree with the way the old firm are with each other but they will never change history or the way folk feel about it

Gnasher I agree we shouldn't be let in to the top league. We should have to work our way up to it like every other team but like I said earlier sky will want us in for the viewing figures and and when they want us in we will be there. It all comes down to money. I watched the local pub team play just the other week and I watched a better 90 minutes of football than some top scottish games. Its a poor state scottish football, but things can only get better for us as I believe they can't get any worse

Gnasher I personally think the teams like hull, portsmouth,wigan and even west ham would not be that far out of our league. I dare say we would even beat them as we play more of a physical game than them. Also how many of your bottom ten teams have played at european level? We have, ableit not with great success but we are very rarely embarressed by the results.

Yes but you could say that about leeds,forest,leyton orient.....any number of clubs ( as has been proved with little clubs like chelsea and man city ).....the difference is the old firm clubs are just not producing the quality of player,which ultimately lower league football all comes down to...........the ONLY thing that puts celtic and rangers on premier league level is their following/support.....thats why its a shame they are so far behind on the pitch. Can I ask what team you follow gnasher?

I personally think if sky want them to join then they'll get in. At the end of the day its all down to money. if we join the english leagues then I think with in 6 years we would be in the top 6. we have the supporters we just don't get enough competitive football up here to attract good foriegn players. now gnasher I think you have not mentioned the best player to come out of scotland in a long time. depends a lot on the ground you hunt on. the majority of the ground I hunted on before the ban was rough small fields so giving the hare a 100yd slip would see it through a hedge and off in to the next field before you've even slipped the dog. Also I like to see a dog using its nose daytime, I find it more exciting to watch a dog quartering a field after it had scented a hare and trying too enticipate when and where it will get up.
