  2. The c**t was there when i went to pick dog up.I had not seen dog for a while and what a state he was in.Sores and bleeding feet, three snapped claws at the quick, two large fresh scabs on hind legs, serious skin flake and dead fur. Also i looked at his food & water bowl which were green slimy and empty and i asked her for food for new owner to take and she said she ran out fri and this was Sunday. The cage she give me and kept him in is just big enough to fit my 21" lurcher in.When i opened back door the weeds and brambles etc were over 5ft and the poor dog had made a tunnel to a 3x3ft bit of c

  8. They are not neutered but i think you take them on agreement that you get them done between 6 & 9 months for obvious reasons.I think the 3 brothers and sisters were just handed in at a pound in Stoke which is strange as i bet you could get a fair price for these i bet unless owner needed shot immediately. On the thread somebody commented saying they were pure saluki but i not sure.
  9. Just been browsing on Lurcherlink and was amazed by some of the pups handed in at pounds etc.A litter of lovely Saluki x pups which have been handed in @ a pound so if anyone is on look out for one it might be worth checking them out and best of all they will be free or a small donation and i suppose its a good deed giving them a second chance in life.Heres a few pics!
  10. I know i would have him but not got room.Cousin had him since 8weeks and when he split up his Mrs a year ago i rehomed the Lab they had to Scottish prison service and she agreed to keep Zues but now she is getting rode off a coon who dont like dogs and she going on holiday to Angola or summit in a fortnight and said if he not gone she will get him pts.He locked in a kitchen for upto 16 hours a day and its not fair on him.Saying that mind even going to kennels he would be better looked after and at least walked but he would prob see out his days in there!
  11. This is a long shot but im trying to find a home for a Bullmastiff dog dog for a relative.Zues is 8-9 years old but still active. He has a superb temperament and used to children and other dogs. Also a good guard dog. This is a last resort as only other alternative is PTS.Genuine reason for parting and if anyone interested PM me or you can ring/text me 07791 507621 Jon

  16. Suppose how big dog was and rabbit i guess.Used to catch the odd few with brothers pure Beddy bitch and she was only about 15tts but also it was on rough ground and half grown rabbits.I dont think would have a prayer on open land.Thread should be in terrier section too mate!

  22. I have problem but other way round. But come autumn when he starts properly with plenty of catches on good ground it will change, fingers crossed!atb MH
  23. Spaniels or Spaniel crosses seem to be the best and ya dont have to worry about them going to ground.I got a pure Wheaten bitch which which is bushing really well at minute even @ just 6 months old.I walk my dogs at a technology park which is alive with wildlife and if there is a rabbit/bird in the bush she will make sure it gets out.Aint no cover too thick she will somehow find a way into it and to date had two young rabbits(which were released back down hole as unharmed) a coot and a moorhen chick.
