Just want to say a big thankyou to everyone who turned up for tonights meet.About 20 dogs were ther and loads of races. One downside was an accident to one of dogs clashing with another but as from next week no muzzle no race and that includes kennel mates.Only dogs running on own will not require a muzzle

i give it basic training as well you prick.you must think im f*****g stupid or summit.House training was first as lived in barn, then lead train, then not to take my kids food out there hands and not to scrounge because i hate that.Luckily he is as good as gold and all basic training going well. this pup will go nowhere even if dont make the grade in field.my kids love it and it maybe ok running in my lurcher lure racing club.

Who silly???

It will like but he was mouthing it a bit and @ one point give it a little shake but dont want it doing that obviously as gets older. i been trying to get him to retrieve a pair of socks in garden and he was having none of it but when he ran back for rabbit he carried it bout 50yards to about 5 yards away so i guess theres a start
-
No im not that daft but i do lamp there a bit with my mates dogs and thats why want rid of all mixy rabbits as there is literally hundreds of rabbits there and saves ya buying food.
-
And like i said i never took it chasing quarry i was out for walk to normal place i take it when home as a change from my back field.I was just curious as to what he would do given a chance as easy as that.If i he comes across another ill just leave him to it as dont have him on lead but i wont be throwing him onto them like i did thats for sure i dont wanna ruin a good little pup.
-
Im not bothered to be honest. All can talk over net but woudlnt say to face, FACT.Like i said i could of picked it up myself as it was well gone and was not hard to catch.I didnt intend to go out catching stuff @ that age as dont wanna spoil him i was just curious as to what he would do after chasing my pet rabbit all time and he done what i thought. He dropped it when squeeled then it only hopped a few yards then he grabbed it again but with rabbit being so weak it seemed to just give up and i am not saying he retrieved to hand it was when i made him leave it he ran back and picked it up and st

I knew some Bell end like you would comment on it.I dont talk shit like some on here and im not saying it s a good dog or whatever but it happened and thats on my kids lives. The rabbit had eyes closed and the size of golf balls and was oblivious to everything around it and also was skin and bone.it was not too hard to catch because i basically threw him on top of it and thats when it tried to hop off. and like i said he been chasing my pet rabbit all time so cant let that out now incase he bites it.Why dont you come here ill take you to place and you will see the place riddled with mixy and i

Just been for walk with pup to local technology park and he has just caught his first rabbit @ 12 weeks old.Was out this morning and a mixy rabbit in middle of field he chased it like he does my pet one but when it got too far in front he stopped. And i went to same place tonight and as pulled up a mixy rabbit was there but it hopped in bush and bout 5yards away was another mixy rabbit which too went in bush but 20 yards in field was another mixy rabbit.I walked right onto it and he just sniffed it but as soon as it set off he chased it and caught it then dropped it when it squeeled then it got

Mr Hunter replied to matt241075's topic in Gamefairs, Meet Up's and Events
Me neither kid i was talked thru process on on phone by my dad but i learn quick. as fore line make sure its weighted well otherwise it gets all tangled etc so use full bath towel or something but when first put line on wheel just get gloves on someone and pull line tight.another tip is use a sheet or summit placed over line after your finish line because this stops the wheel from spinning and also gathers up and hides lure so dogs dont grab it and sod off pulling it.ill try get some video footage and post it for you -
Im after dog like that and have been for ages. Some people have all the luck dont they.Good luck with it mate!
