He is nice dog and spitting double of the dam of my dog.I just trying to work out how big mine will get as he 18" tts now at 18 weeks and his mother was 19" and dad just a 24" coursing greyhound

I have just googled these dogs as never seen one before and both the Llanwenarth & Raggengill strains are lovely looking dogs i dont think you will have a problem selling them mate.Good luck!

I was supposed to be going for my annual refresher training in Essex this weekend which has now been cancelled but i was taking a couple of jill ferrets to my dads in Kent as he is having trouble finding any in his area.I was just wondering if there is any courier service that will transport them? I have used Am-Trak in the past but they are no longer trading.If not does anybody know of any ferrets going in the Maidstone area either free or cheap?

My dad owns a Hancock which is an excellent all round dog on all quarry and is the quickest Lurcher i have seen in my life.3 times Sussex Longdog race champion and unbeaten in 3 years but there is not a chance in hell i would match it against a good Saluki cross on Long ears.

I will race him at my Lurcher club and if go to shows i would race him.Not as serious as some people take it as he is a working dog but to keep fit and in good shape especially out of season ill be racing him.I started my club in the summer when i didnt even own a dog and it was to just keep my friends dogs fit and active through the close season and with a bit of advertising the club is where it is today and has good turn outs every sunday and you can see the difference in a lot of the dogs in their speed and athletesism.So for me racing is definately part of my plans for the dog.

I hope so.He has caught 11 rabbits already but all riddled with mixy but some done a half hearted run and he chased and caught.Stopped going to the place now though as too easy to catch them and i dont want to spoil him.Another month or so and im taking him ferreting and to watch a friends dog on lamp too and hopefully come February time he will be catching fit and healthy rabbits on his own so fingers crossed.

He does run the lure and has since 11 weeks.Been very easy to train as well which is a bonus so i couldnt ask for a better pup.And Rich the breeding is in my post a 1st X Grey x Whippet and as for size im unsure.He has threw more to the Whippet size so i reckon about 21" tts maybe more as he is 18" tts now at 18 weeks old.

I have just worked out how to resize pictures so here is a few of my pup.I know they are not good pictures but its difficult because i cant move without him following me and i know he looks a bit nervous on the one where im holding him but i can assure you he is not and is very well looked after. Sire: 24" Coursing Greyhound X Dam:19" Laguna Whippet. He is 18weeks old now and showing real promise and hoping to get him started properly at back end of the season.He is Currently 18" tts but im unsure how big he will make but hopefully will make at least 21"tts.

Thanks Alan.She trying to dump the Mastiff off now too as dont think cousin can take to Aunties as that and Russell are at it now.The Russell was her with The Labs first dog but when it kept fighting Mastiff my Auntie took the Russell and it was quickly replaced with the Labrador.But finding a nice home @ 9 years old is not gonna be easy.

Because i dont need the money in my lurcher club its making good steady progress on its own without help and we have enough in kitty to keep us ticking over and new equipment.And to be honest i never thought of a rescue centre but its done now and at least i got the main result i wanted which was to find this dog a home and life it deserved.

I would just like to say a massive THANKYOU to TwoTone (Alan) for putting me in touch with Tim Young from The Scottish Prison Service.He has just been to assess Alfie and they are over the moon with him and all tests etc he passed with flying colours especially in a strange environment.All thats needed was a bit more socialisation work which is understandable for a dog who spends all day and night in a kitchen.Tim was a lovely fella and even offered me £100 for dog but i didnt want her who i took him off having it so he then offered it as a donation to my Teesside Lurcher Club which again was

He is doing sound Rich.I keep trying to get some pics but he wont pose for camera and if i hold him up he looks nervous on them so i dont wanna post them up.Kids love him aswell so even if dont make working dog will make good pet but i think he will as caught 11 rabbits already but all with real bad mixy.Not bad for 18weeks old but have stopped going to place now as too easy to catch them and dont wanna spoil him.Gonna give it another month then take him out with Matts dogs to watch on lamp etc and hoping to get him started properly towards the back end of the season.
