I got a Whippet X Greyhound 1st cross and a 3/4 Wheaten 1/4 Bull and hoping to line them in the future.Be a few years down line mind as both still pups but i love them Wheaten crosses and i dont think it will be around long if it works as good as it looks!

  3. I've not noticed biting as a symptom, certainly obsesive licking of the ring. And usually accompanied by really bad breath and a distinctly fish like odour  Anal glands can also be blocked by foriegn objects, No not pervy frenchmen . bits of sticks, bone etc have all been found when emptying glands. Often a poor/ predominently soft food diet doesn't help Regards LD13 Well he forever stripping sticks in the Garden and also both dogs are mostly fed on Chicken with bones etc so your prob right ld13.Cheers for advice lads but i think ill leave for someone else to do as i dont fanc

  6. I noticed a thread on here about a dogs rubbing its hoop along the floor and a few said it was to do with the anal gland.Well my pup been doing it a while now and i know its not worms as wormed every 4 weeks and was only done a few days ago.I just wondered how much the vet charges to do this as i dont fancy sticking my fingers up his arse. And if he reacts the way my Mrs does when i try it with her im f****d!

  13. Thats the last thing i would do.?? All thats happens is you excite your pup, with whats going on, and that the last thing you want.?? Get out just you and your pup, and 12 months old is about right. Just pick a few easy rabbits if you can, it will miss a few but its no big deal. The 1st season= learning the ropes, 2nd= season getting no the crack,3rd season= lamping dog. I have never known it do any other dogs i have seen any harm so ill give it a go anyway. And as for getting excited i think he will be ok.He is probably the most laid back dog i have ever seen. Also i work away so wi
  14. Mail Cocker on here mate.He mainly does dog transport but also keeps Hawks etc and i bet he wouldnt mind transporting it for you.I cant see it being that much as prob only 180miles or summit.
  15. My pup just under 7 month and im taking him lamping but as lads said said educational only. He wont be getting slipped but watching everything.Just make sure you go with good dogs as dont want your dog picking up any bad habits from other dogs. All the best with the pups!
  16. If i didnt work away i would love a bird like this, she looks amazing and would love to see her fly.I dont know if the Indian Eagle Owl is same size as the European one but i once watched a programme where the Euro ones hunted, caught and ate Buzzards and buzzards are not small birds so i think a hare should be no problem for one of these.Good luck with the sale mate she is a cracker.
