I foster dogs for the Blue Cross/PFSS (Pet Fostering Service Scotland) which takes in dogs for those who are temporarily unable to look after them, ie elderly folk going into hospital, abused women moving into a refuge, someone losing their house etc, and it is very satisfying to help those who need it the most. I am trained to assess dogs for rehoming, and volunteering also includes doing home checks on those who wish to adopt a dog from the Blue Cross and retraining foster dogs.

Dogs and horses also come high on the list of interests, especially my lurcher Fly, my whippet Rocket and my horse Kelpie.
