    im glad you enjoyed em compost man lots of people have been in touch to say they are very impressed with the dogs on the dvds .what did you think of the red dog luckys grandson and the grand daughter ruby them dvds mate were exellent,the ruby bitch was a little cracker but my favourit was spinner if i could have had any dog off the dvds she would be the 1,the pace of the bitch and the way she sticks is unbeliveable shame her life was ended so early.if theres another set of dvds put together like these infuture mate put me down for 1.

    if you've got a dog bred out of match dogs and put it over a marathon greyhound bitch would it take to much stamina out of the breed.

    Have you run grey/saluki x grey/collie up their? I found dogs that mostly came a cropper or sufferd with their feet on the moorland we used to run on were lurchers with an high percentage of greyhound in them ie 3 quarter breds. TOTALY AGREE PAL,IVE GOT A 3/4 GREY 1/4 WHIPPET AND SHE WAS LAME EVERTIME I RAN HER.SHES 7 NOW AND HAS DAMAGED TOES ON BOTH FRONT FEET AND TWO MIDDLE TOES TAKEN OFF HER LEFT BACK FOOT,JUST TOO MUCH POWER IN THE DOG.ID NEVER BUY ANOTHER

    nice to see somebody putting the dog before money,good on ya mate.theres not many good dog men left.dogs are past all over for silly money and at end of the day when dogs too old to run or its been bred to death it just gets dumped it pisses me off

    i know its a long shot but does anybody know anything about the stud dog mp used to line tina,the litter was the one ruby came out of.the litter will be 4 years old now.

    I take it we are talking single handed hare dogs on browns on huge flat fields or organised comps. are not the real hereos the dogs that runs all day behind say a landy on the hills and only leaves the road to catch a hare. dont want to start a argument but but why should match dogs only get a mention. if a dog has never been put on public show and beaten the best and worst how can it ever be remembered as the best ever which this thread is about, there might have been a hundred dogs and bitches stuck in someones kennels better than foxy lucky and the lot but it will never be known as the

    ive got both and on rabbit or hare (pre-ban)the grey is easy the best over 1 run but often comes back lame as they will run through a brick wall to catch there quarry,the lurcher seems to have more stamina as time goes on and seem more light on there feet.but thats just my experiance

    in my opinion greyhounds are not thick its there heart is to big my old bitch was too hard for her own good she would run through anything to catch a hare or rabbit and yes they are very injury prone has they run so hard and powerful mine would knock its self up every run nearly but the saluki grey whippet grey i run with her never got lame.

    ive seen the man that welpt pups out of tina today and showed him my dog he said he got it wrong the dog ive got is litter brother to ruby and the dog used over tina was awhite dog and the stud fee was £600 does anybody else know anything about this mateing
