After going to give up with hounds me and my father decided we couldnt ,infact we are going to increase in number because my hounds are to old now .After trying to get a pup or 2 without success or 1 or 2 old ones again without success .Had some good news today may have 1 or 2 welsh pups on my way.Cant wait hope it comes off .

I havent lost any for years boys i know the 2 must of got shot ,all my hounds are micro chipped now ,just asking thats all do they turn up later or not,

Do missing hounds turn up ?Over the past 12 years me and my mate have had a fair bit of bad luck.Firstly lost 2 hounds never to be found ,2 shots were heard but we dont know who by and after weeks of searching they never turned up ,we tried everywhere from police to pounds with out luck.Then 3 years later we were out hunting a farm and the hounds took off ,again 2 missing but were found a hour later the local police were chassing scramblers and hit hit the hounds as they ran accross the road .One was killed instantly and the other broken back legs ,dont ask me how but the police tried to claim

all mine are bitches,so they all come in season at same time(believe it or not all in heat now). i hunt em right through but they go a bit dopey at times when they're in heat. I only got just the one bitch mate and 3 dogs but the dogs will start to play up in kennel now ,and its true mate bitches bringing bitches in heat i tend to find you can guarantee my terrier bitches will come in now lol

Weather is starting to do my nut in ,cant get out to the farms with the terriers either and today damn my hound bitch is comming in season so ive lost her for a month.

Cant get out and about to the farms i want to go to with the hounds .So i had a few hours out this morning local again.Started off very slow then i would say its the best hunting i have had for a while .Only about 3 hours but the hounds didnt stop ,what a cracking sound .Took a few photos but not many.will post them soon

GOT TOO ADMIRE SMALLER GUN PACKS ENTERING YOUNG HOUNDS AS IT CAN BE A VERY DIFFICULT AS YOU KNOW I WORK WITH A BIG MOUNTED PACK MUST BE HARD TO GET YOUNSTERS INTO FOXES TOO GET THEM TUNED IN TOO THE CORRECT SCENT AND NOT SPEAK ON ANYTHING, HELPS IF YOU HAVE A GOOD CONTACT FOR BOMB PROOF OLDER HOUNDS WHO SPEAK ON FOX ONLY BUT CAN BE HARD TO GET YOUR HANDS ON THEM FOR MANY REASONS REGARDS DABBER Got to agree with you mate im finding it very hard to get hold of any.I realy dont want to go back down the road of beagles .Nothing wrong at all with them just not suited to me

problem i had was the boys were shooting at anything that came out and the foxes kept turning.They were shooting at ducks ,woodcock e.t.c never the less nice to leave some behind for next time

Just wondering what accidents others have had while out and about in the countryside.Myself me knee locked while out digging and spent 1 month with it locked half bent .Ought to have a opperation to shave bones and remove the cartlage.
