Hows every ones season going ?

Probably 90% of small packs would do it free of charge just for the love of it ,it isnt cheap to keep even a small pack going .We have 10 couple beagles and the weekly expense varies, price of food ,unexpected vet bills ,inocullations ,up keep of kennels ,bedding , worming ,keeping hounds in good form ,hound transport and how many of you got hound insurance ? on top of all this we would never ever dream of charging ,infact every christmas we travel around farms with a bottle or two for each farmer as a thankyou gesture because with out them theres no sport ,no sport is no need for hounds

We take our hounds around to the shoots end of season or whenever needed, a local pack to me was charging £40 day ,they asked us if we could do it, and couldnt beleave we done it for free ,had some very successful days and was given a free day on the pheasants , personally i would never charge

I have a young hound free to anyone who can give him a good home and must have experience with hounds . Hes a 14 month old beagle , hes a bit wild when out at first then settles down , my mate is cutting back so hes got to go to good home , he will settle in lovelly to a small pack ,hes got plenty drive ( to much infact ) but in right hands can make a good one ,inbox only if seriously interested , dont want him going from place to place owner to owner ,thanks

been alot wetter the last few weeks for us and scent has gone patchy , neil you are right lol

Hows every ones season going so far? personally we found better scent in the drier start of the season ,Since the onset of rain scent seems to be very patchy .Numbers are still ticking over slowly with the pups entering steadily .Lets hope for the white stuff soon . Didnt take many photos today wet day .Scent wasnt best in places . Even left the little warriors in which proved to be a downfall . But there is allways another day .We aint out to eradicate Hour in not best so far Took a while to find but only run for 20 min No warrior to hand

Im getting there mate , keep your hounds in good condition mate health and kennels and just sit back and reap the rewards , we put a lot of time, effort and money in mate .Its finally paying off , any time you want day out mate just give us a bell

Hi im looking at buying a long net ,im after a 50 yard quick set long net and was wondering best place to buy one with the best quality .Any advice will be much appreciated , thanks
